The Fingerlakes Area of NY Agri-Women is hosting their mid-year meet-up Saturday, April 18 starting at 10:30am. The meet-up will kick off with a tour of the Fulton Ethanol Plant, located at 376 Owen Rd in Fulton, NY. Following the tour, attendees will gather for lunch at the Blue Moon Grill at 122 Cayuga Street in Fulton for additional discussion related to agriculture and energy trends.

The Fulton Ethanol Plant is spread over an area of 115 acres in Riverview Business Park and includes a 250,000 square-foot brewhouse. The plant has the capacity to produce 85 million gallons of ethanol annually. New York Agri-Women member Alicia Nedrow stated that the facility is a major market for area corn growers, as well as a major employer for the surrounding areas. The tour and subsequent luncheon conversation is sure to be a valuable educational experience!
