I’m very excited to announce that the Suffolk County Chapter of New York Agri-Women will be having a meet-up at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Laurel Lake Vineyards located at 3165 Main Road, Laurel, NY 11948. There will be a light lunch for $25.00 which will be followed by a wine tasting and cheese pairing donated by Laurel Lake Vineyards and La Bonne Quiche. I will be in attendance to briefly speak about New York Agri-Women including the organization’s goals. I hope that women involved in Long Island agriculture will be able to take a long lunch that day.
